Kuumba: What’s My Social Change Role?

This Kuumba mentoring circle explores the different social change roles we play & give you a deeper sense of the various ecosystems you contribute to.

How do you see yourself and your role in these changing times? What role do you feel you can play/want to play in this moment in time? Which roles come with ease to you? Which ones do you assume in certain ecosystems that require effort from you?

Are you a natural storyteller or a disruptor? Do you like experimenting or building structures? Are you the visionary or a weaver/networker? This Kuumba mentoring circle will guide you through mapping your own role in your community using tools adapted from Deepa Iyer’s The Social Change Ecosystem Map.

This will be followed by a case clinic where we’ll apply uLab’s “presencing” approach that enables participants to engage in deep listening practices. In this case clinic your project, initiative, idea or thought will be given 15-minutes of deep listening, providing you with innovative tools on how to respond to the shifts and changes of our times.

Join us to discover, explore and gain a better understanding of your strengths and areas that need nurturing and more attention.

Please note that Kuumba mentoring circles are intimate gatherings of 6-8 people including the two hosts.
